Course content includes

Theory knowledge, driving ability and how to teach students to drive in a competent and confident manner
Module based step-by-step exercises following a structured syllabus to achieve the core competences required to teach student drivers in a controlled and less stressful way
System driving approaching hazards
The importance & use of visual aids and how to deal with ‘difficult’ pupils
Lesson plans, give briefings to pupils, driver fault analysis rectification methods.

Any driver wishing to pursue a career in teaching learner drivers, existing Driving Instructors wishing to improve their own driving skills and teaching ability.

What will they learn?

Delegates learn the necessary skills and knowledge to become a Driving Instructor. Existing Instructors can also benefit by having their driving and teaching methods assessed to achieve a higher standard.
